TH1000 is a TiSiN-TiAlN Nanolaminate PVD coated grade. Its coating structure includes a Nanolaminate PVD top layer for maximum toughness and high chipping resistance.
TH1000 is also highly resilient to edge fracture, the kind of wear that typically occurs when turning hard surfaced components and during finish turning of hardened steel parts.
